Let’s work together to successfully implement the energy transition. To this end, we are seeking a Permitting Planner (m/f/d) in the renewable energy sector for our locations in Rostock and Oldenburg.
Your Contribution to the Energy Transition
- Project support from the preparation of permitting plans through to handover to the developer
- Preparing permit applications
- Guiding the preparation of permitting plans and the drafting of permitting applications
- Analyzing projects for potential permitting risks
- Obtaining and reviewing expert opinions on nature conservation and forecasts regarding pollution control
- Support throughout permitting and administrative enforcement proceedings
- Evaluation of comments from the relevant authorities and the public
- Coordination with authorities involved in the permitting process
- Participation in public hearings
- Support for appeal and litigation proceedings with the assistance of legal counsel
- Preparation for construction
- Application for additional permits (including those under water and highway laws)
- Obtaining and reviewing necessary technical reports (including those for legal counsel)
- Coordinating project stakeholders
In addition to your energy, you bring
- a successfully completed degree from a university of applied sciences or a traditional university in the fields of spatial planning, urban and regional planning, landscape planning, environmental planning, environmental law, geography, or a comparable field
- Strong logical thinking skills
- Prior knowledge and professional experience in the development of projects involving renewable energy, particularly wind energy, are desirable but not required
- an independent and structured approach to work, as well as the ability to grasp concepts quickly
- Proficiency with MS Office applications
- Initial experience with the planning tools ArcGIS or WindPro would be desirable
- Valid driver’s license
